Sat May 4 — Go at UWM 7pm

Go Club will meet at the UWM Union food court again this Saturday.
Thanks to all who came last week to share in the fun!

Just a heads-up: starting mid-June the go club will be under new management for at least a year. Anyone interested in helping out?

Go Club Sat 10/6 at UWM 7pm; schedule afternoon dates?

This week Go Club will meet at usual Sat at 7pm in the UWM food court area.

Several people can’t make it on Saturday evenings, while several others can’t make it on Saturday afternoons. Would Oct 27 and Dec 8 work as days to meet in the afternoon? Let’s see who can come at 1:30 pm on those dates before we decide anything.

3 confirmed for Sat 8/25

Hi all, we have three confirmed players for tomorrow afternoon 8/25 at 1pm in the gameroom storefront at the Bayshore Food Court. Look for the Milwaukee Go Club banner!
Meetings will remain 1-4pm on Sat at Bayshore until at least mid-September. At some point it will probably move back to UWM, perhaps later in the afternoon, but for the time being, we’re keeping summer hours at the summer location.

Register this week for go tournament next Sat 1/21

Happy New Year to all go players!

The great news is that another organization has gotten involved in go in Milwaukee, so there’s a little more go action happening these days.
They’re hosting a tournament Saturday 1/21 at the Mitchell Park Domes Chinese New Year celebration. See the link/attachment for details.
NOTE: REGISTER BY FRIDAY JAN 13th for FREE ADMISSION.
Registration is possible after that but admission to the Domes may not be included.

Meanwhile, our club is still on our 2nd + 4th Saturday evening schedule at Bayshore. Is there anyone willing to or interested in showing up every Saturday? It should help attendance if we can make that work.

Friday 2/25 6:30 pm

Two weeks have passed and we’re playing go again.  We’ve got some new players, hooray.  If you’re new, you won’t be alone.  If you’ve played in the past but haven’t played lately, we hope you’ll come back.  If you’re a regular, we’re so glad to be with you each time.

Did you catch the kudos to our own Art O’Leary in the American Go Association newsletter?

See you in front of the Board Game Barrister at Bayshore Town Center mall, 6:30 pm Friday.
